Glass Disc Insulators

For many customers and applications, toughened glass insulators provide high level performance and long-term security for high voltage insulation.

Glass disc insulators have higher resistance to breaking when compared to ceramics insulators and the mechanical compressive strength is 1.5 times higher than ceramics. Electrical resistance is also much higher than that of ceramic insulators (between 500 kV/cm and 1000 kV/cm).
